1. No chance, no cash value

Every real reward is earned by meeting a published learning goal or by skill in a weekly competition. Nothing is ever decided by luck, drawings, spins or random selection. MathCoins are virtual points with no cash value: they can't be exchanged for money, gift cards or prizes, sold or transferred. They're only spent in the Coin Shop.

2. Who can take part

Students with a MathCrown account who live in the United States. Rewards are delivered only to the student's linked parent or guardian account, and only after that parent approves the request. Void where prohibited.

3. Season Mastery Reward (Premium, Family & Max plans)

Seasons follow the calendar quarter; Season 1 runs Monday, Oct 5, 2026 to Sunday, Jan 3, 2027. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, US Eastern time. A Weekly Goal is 50 questions in a week at 75% accuracy or better. Complete 8 Weekly Goals in a season, then pass a Mastery Check (10 new questions at your grade level, 8 correct to pass, 15 minutes, up to 3 tries a day) to claim one reward worth $5: a school supplies kit, a $5 Target eGift Card or a $5 Amazon eGift Card.

Limits: one Season Reward per student per season (up to $20 a year), and per subscription per season: Premium 1, Family 2, Max 2 (shared among the plan's children, first claimed first served). Claim before the season ends. Season Rewards are a thank-you for learning, not a refund, rebate or return on your subscription.

4. Weekly Champions (free, no purchase necessary)

Free and paid players compete equally in three divisions: Grades K–5, 6–8 and 9–12. Each week, in each division, two players win a reward worth $5: the Top Scorer (highest Weekly Score = correct answers × accuracy, with at least 30 questions at 60%+ accuracy) and the Most Improved (biggest accuracy gain over their own earlier accuracy, at least 30 questions that week and 30 before it). One prize per player per week; ties go to higher accuracy. That's at most 6 prizes ($30) a week. Winners verify with a Mastery Check and claim by the following Sunday; unclaimed prizes aren't re-awarded. Prizes start with the week of Oct 5, 2026.

5. Delivery

After parent approval, eGift Cards are emailed to the parent and supplies kits are mailed to a US address the parent provides, usually within 14 days. Target and Amazon are not sponsors of MathCrown; their names and marks belong to their owners.

6. Fair play

Rewards are for the student's own work. Using scripts, extra accounts, or someone else answering makes an account ineligible. We review play data before sending rewards and may withhold a reward that doesn't look like genuine play.

7. Changes

We may change or end the rewards program by posting updated rules here. Rewards already earned under the rules in effect at the time will be honored. Questions: support@mymathcrown.com.
